Our Services
Static Guarding
Our provision of static guarding services can be tailored to suit the exact requirements of any customer to reflect the professionalism and high quality services we offer. Our officers can be called upon to undertake a variety of duties from basic patrolling to full gate controls. Before beginning any duties we would undertake a full site inspection with risk assessments to cover all health and safety issues. In certain cases we may decide that mobile patrols will work in conjunction with static officers ensuring adequate back-up facilities. All sites and the officers working on them will be subject to regular supervisory and management visits to ensure the highest standards are maintained. From our wide experience in the security industry there is no doubt at all that a static presence is the best solution.
Mobile Patrol
 This is often a preferred option when a number of sites need regular checking, or where a particularly large site needs extra coverage. Any agreed set of mobile visits will include checks on perimeter security, building and entry/exit routes dependent on any specific requirements identified by a client. Our mobile vehicles are clearly signed and driven by experienced officers able to give full reports about the security of premises overnight and at weekends. This service is often provided in conjunction with our Key Holding and Alarm Response service.
Key Holding & Alarm Response
Our Key Holding and Alarm Response Service is especially attractive to those customers who are in the position of being on call to shops, factories and offices when alarms are activated. This can often be a rather difficult task to undertake especially if the police are unable to attend. COLE SECURITY SERVICES can offer a secure and efficient keyholding service with a rapid response by our officers to any alarm activation. In the event of any alarm activation our officers would liaise with the police where necessary and remain on site for up to an hour after the call out to ensure the premises are re-secured. In the event of a serious incident then arrangements would be made top provide extended security beyond that time.
Concierge Front Desk Services
 We have officers experienced in this very specialised form of security. Duties will mainly focus on Reception / Front Desk presence welcoming members of the public and those who work in the particular building or unit to be covered. The officers will be looking to provide a secure environment for everyone who uses the building. Before undertaking any work and assigning officers a very detailed assessment would be completed considering any detailed requests from a potential client. This would ensure the identification of a suitable officer able to meet these needs fully and professionally.
Door Supervisiors
COLE SECURITY SERVICES LTD have fully licensed professional personnel able to offer excellent customer focused Door Supervisor duties to the highest possible standards. Whatever your requirements we will be able to supply experienced staff to meet your needs. All of our officers have been trained to the high levels demanded by the SIA and have extensive support in terms of conflict management issues.
Emergency Cover
All our regular customers are aware we will react to any of their emergency needs whenever possible. No one can predict when and for what reason these needs will arise. We are adaptable and easily contacted via our 24 hour control centre. We would hope we would be able to respond to any call out of this nature as quickly as possible.
Training for the Future
 The company's Business Plan for 2010 identifies the major need to invest in training and development processes across all aspects of administration and operation. This will be vital to the company’s growth over the next year. Already much work has been done within the Administrative and Financial sectors with the implementation of an IT programme involving Tagtronics and Microsoft Office software. There has been a focus on an in-house programme of refresher training with a particular emphasis on control and mobile operations. All officers receive regular support and additional training on site especially when moving to new sites. All this is part of the drive to ensure the company remains at the forefront as a major provider of security services across the region.
All the formal training is supervised by the MD, Francis Cole, who is a fully qualified Level Three trainer, and is carried out under the aegis of our associate company - Faith Training - in our specialist training facility.
SIA Approved Contractors
 The introduction of compulsory licensing for individuals operating within the private security industry has helped ensure that people working within the industry are ‘fit and proper’ and are adequately trained for the role they perform. The SECURITY INDUSTRY AUTHORITY has also introduced supplier accreditation in the form of the SIA APPROVED CONTRACTOR SCHEME (ACS). This scheme works in parallel with licensing to promote consistently higher standards in the provision of private security services.
The SIA APPROVED CONTRACTOR SCHEME provides, for the first time, a universally recognised hallmark of quality for suppliers of private security services. The ACS accreditation mark enables procurers of private security services to distinguish between potential suppliers quickly, accurately and objectively. It provides assurance that the accredited provider has met a clearly defined and independently assessed set of quality standards throughout their business. As a result, purchasers of private security services can be confident that the quality of services they receive and the capabilities of the people deployed under contract meet the highest industry standards.
